I have noticed over the years that the crown on my front tooth was really degrading in quality and I was getting more and more embarrassed to smile in pictures because it was coming really evident that it was losing its shape and texture. I had gone to other dentists and they were unwilling to save my healthy front tooth. They wanted to replace both of them and I was unwilling to do that. When I came to Dr. Wilderman, he really listened to my concerns and he said with his expertise and technology, he would be able to replace my front crown and save my healthy tooth, which I was really happy to hear. The end result was amazing. His staff was really friendly. They are always kind to me and they always listen to my concerns and took the time to explain things to me and in the end I was really happy with my front crown that I have now and that really matches in quality and color with my other teeth and I am always happy to smile in pictures now. I will always recommend Dr. Wilderman to my friends and family. The level of service, the quality of his work was amazing. I was really happy with him. Porcelain dental crowns serve both aesthetic and functional purposes for our suburban Philadelphia patients, because:

Porcelain Crowns Placement

Dr. Wilderman performs the placement of porcelain crowns in two stages:

During the first stage, Dr. Wilderman will remove part of your existing tooth structure (part of an adjacent tooth may need to be reduced as well). He will then make an impression of your teeth; this impression will then be used to create your custom porcelain crowns at our lab. Meanwhile, you will be provided with temporary crowns until the permanent crowns become available.

In the second stage, which occurs about three weeks later, Dr. Wilderman will gently remove your temporary crowns. He will then bond your new porcelain crowns in place at our Philadelphia facilities, so as to meet your personal aesthetic and functional needs.
